Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Ether Hec is a white to light yellow fibrous or powdery solid, non-toxic, odorless, and easily soluble in water. Insoluble in common organic solvents.
The viscosity does not change much in the range of PH value 2-12, and the viscosity decreases beyond this range. It has the functions of thickening, suspending, combining, emulsifying, dispersing, moisturizing and protecting colloid. Solutions can be prepared in different viscosity ranges. Unstable under normal temperature and pressure, avoid humidity, high temperature, and high temperature. It has excellent salt solubility to dielectrics. Its aqueous solution is allowed to contain high concentrations of salt and remain stable.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Ether is widely used in petroleum exploration, paint, construction, medicine and food, textile, papermaking and polymer polymerization and other fields.

2.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is used as a sizing agent in the textile industry, as an auxiliary agent for bonding, thickening, emulsifying, and stabilizing in the electronics and light industry sectors.

3.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is used as surfactant, colloidal protective agent, emulsification stabilizer for vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate and other emulsions, as well as viscosifier, dispersant and dispersion stabilizer for latex.

4.Hydroxyethyl cellulose is widely used in printing and dyeing, textile, papermaking, medicine, sanitation, food, cigarette, pesticide and fire extinguishing agent, etc.
